Leon One / note 2

Protecting a focus block

The 11:30–12:00 example highlights a different part of the process: client call. Reserve fixed commitments first. Protect a small focus block, then leave an explicit buffer rather than hiding it inside every estimate. Compare it with 15:00–16:00 before assuming that both items require the same response.

Work through the specimen

A week planned at full capacity leaves no room for revisions or the administrative work that always returns.

Example: 11:30–12:00

The illustrative record contains client call. Its state is fixed. Ask what evidence supports that state, which detail is still uncertain and whether the next person could understand it without reading a separate message thread.

Questions for a working review

A small exercise

Take one recent time planning example from your own process. Write its context without using a status label, then add the label separately. If the two contradict each other, investigate the source before updating the record. Compare the result with “15:00–16:00” in the demonstration to see which distinctions your process needs.

These are planning notes. The specimen is illustrative, and the preview does not process live work.
